Gasoline prices spike again to record highs

High gas prices continue to spike across Long Island and the country, with the average price in New York up to $4.56 a gallon according to the AAA compared to a national average of $4.37 as of May 10th.

The continuing war in Ukraine, along with inflation-driven consumer price increases, will most likely keep the price of gas at record-levels and beyond for at least the short term leading up to Memorial Day. To get the latest local gas prices go to Gasbuddy.com.
