Tops Cleaners, a West Hempstead fixture for decades, will be closing its doors on August 20th.
If you still have clothes at the store, please make sure to pick them up this week.
In addition to the ongoing vacancy issues on Hempstead Avenue, dry cleaning businesses were hit hard by covid and the changing lifestyles and clothing options of those who no longer commuted to work on a daily basis.
