The Town of Hempstead is extending pool hours for Echo Park Pool from 10am to 9pm.
There has been no new information on the construction start date for the much needed new roof on the indoor pool which the Town of Hempstead estimates will be six months for the upgrade to be completed.
Only day passes are currently being issued.
The status of the gym and sauna/steam rooms, which have been closed since covid began, remains unclear.
In the meantime, enjoy the indoor pool while it remains open.
