The holiday season is in full swing as West Hempstead gets ready to celebrate Christmas and Chanukah. Holiday lights and decorations adorn houses and businesses and the smell of gingerbread baking and latkas frying are in the air.
This Sunday if you are looking for something to do with your kids, you could start your day with a 9:00am – 1:00 PM Breakfast With Santa at Boom VIP Events at 439 Hempstead Ave. This paid event includes breakfast, a photo with Santa, arts and crafts, with music and entertainment.
Starting at 7pm, Chabad will be hosting their annual ‘Mega Chanukah Spectacular’ at Halls Pond Park. Festivities will include a fire engine parade and public menorah lighting along with food, music and gifts.
