Four months after appearing at local nightspot G’s, the Rolling Stones cover band Let it Bleed made a return engagement to West Hempstead, with the nightspot on Hempstead and Westminster now under new ownership and renamed The Avenue.
“Satisfaction” was guaranteed as the Long Island-based band played such classics as Jumpin’ Jack Flash, Wild Horses, Honky Tonk Woman, She’s a Rainbow, and Gimme Shelter, fronted by lead singer John Marino.
Marino spoke with the Echo about his obsession with the Stones (video above). For more about upcoming entertainment at The Avenue check out avenuemusichall.com or like their Facebook page, G’s aka The Avenue.
