Public Hearing Held to Combat Anti-Semitism

This past Thursday, Norm Kaish of West Hempstead Echo spoke at a public hearing sponsored by the Nassau County Legislative Task Force to Combat Anti-Semitism. The hearing was held in the legislative chambers. The public was invited to speak
and share ideas and experiences with the task force of legislators. The members spoke about the alarming rise of Anti-Semitic incidents in our area.
A number of students spoke about their experience as victims of antisemitism and hate in their schools. One notable high school student from East Meadow spoke about the indifference her school administration applied to many of the incidents.
Every task force member pledged their support for the students and to help combat the rise of Anti-Semitism.
