This week the team looks at some grant money coming in to the West Hempstead school district to try and understand what it’s being used for. We also look at the steady demolition of the old Liquidators site, including some footage we captured as they remove the brickwork along the Turnpike by hand. Norm and Dave discuss the increases in fees proposed by the Town of Hempstead for parks, recreation and a host of other items, and we close out with a peculiar event the Town is putting on for Valentine’s Day.
