On Monday, May 27th, under grey threatening skies, West Hempstead held its annual Memorial Day Parade, honoring the millions of men and women who fought and died so bravely in service to our country. The parade, hosted by the West Hempstead Community Support Association, remembered the valiant efforts of our soldiers both past, present and future, who continue to fight and make the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms and democracy.
