Cooking Vibes: Beef jerky and food boards

The owners of Just What the Kosher Ordered share a recipe for beef jerky that makes a great addition to a charcuterie board.

Beef Jerky
2lb. London broil
Marinade 
3/4 c low sodium soy sauce
1/2 c teriyaki sauce 
1/4 c Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp brown sugar
1 Tbsp honey 
2 tsp onion powder 
1 1/2 tsp liquid smoke 
1 1/2 tsp smoked paprika 
1 1/2 tsp maple syrup 
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes 

Directions:
If you have the time place meat in freezer for 1 hr. It will be easier to slice. Cut thinly into strips

Combine marinade in large baggie. Add meat and marinate overnight in the fridge 

Preheat oven to 185. Place wire racks over 2 cookie sheets. Place meat in single layer on racks. Bake for 3 hrs turning slices midway 

Let meat cook. Store in airtight container for a week or refrigerate for longer shelf life.
