A West Hempstead resident reported on the social media app NextDoor that a large sink hole materialized out of nowhere in her backyard. The story created a buzz on social media with many giving their advise and thoughts as to what could have caused this. The story was then picked up by WNBC who came out to West Hempstead to cover the story.
