Stop & Shop employees at the Cherry Valley location were unpacking boxes of Passover food items in preparation for the holiday, which begins on the evening of Friday, April 15 and ends the evening of Saturday, April 23.
Empty shelves in the seasonal section of the store were being stocked with boxes of matza and other specialty foods eaten over the holiday.
The West Hempstead Stop & Shop also carries a full line of kosher products year round including dairy, meat, frozen and baked goods.
