Sanitary District No. 6 released its 2022 holiday garbage collection schedule for 2022.
There will be no garbage or recycling on the following holidays:
Martin Luther King – 1/17/22
President’s Day – 2/21/22
Memorial Day – 5/30/22
Independence Day – 7/4/22
Labor Day – 9/5/22
Columbus Day – 10/1/22
Election Day – 11/8/22
Veterans’ Day – 11/11/22
Thanksgiving Day – 11/24/22
Christmas Day – 12/26/22
The sanitation department asks that garbage not be placed out on those dates. In addition, garbage and recycling will be picked up on your next regular pickup day following the holiday.
