A jury found Gabriel Wilson guilty in the 2021 mass shooting at our local Stop & Shop on Cherry Valley Avenue.
After six hours of deliberation Tuesday and Wednesday, Wilson, 33, was found guilty of second-degree murder, two counts of attempted murder, one count of first-degree assault and two weapons charges. He was acquitted of two additional attempted murder charges.
Wilson shot at five co-workers in 2021, killing manager Ray Wishropp and injuring two others.
