This Week in West Hempstead — October 30 Rundown
Two stories that had everyone talking this week:• A car drove onto another car near the West Hempstead Library during early voting — thankfully no serious injuries, but definitely an attention-getter.
• Later that night around 10 PM, police responded to a robbery at the Exxon Gas Station on Hempstead & Eagle Ave. A police chopper was deployed as part of the search.
Early Voting Update:Voting continues smoothly at the library!
When the elevator broke down, staff quickly set up a temporary polling area on the first floor.
