Amid growing concern over traffic safety in the area, the West Hempstead Community Support Association will meet on Thursday, October 27 at 233 Woodlawn Road, the American Legion Hall at 7pm. Nassau County Legislator John Guiffre will discuss a traffic review of Woodfield Road. Earlier this month a 12-year-old boy was struck and killed by a vehicle on Woodfield. No charges have been filed in the incident.
