Your vote matters! Head to the pollsfor the school board elections and budget vote.

📚 2. The Library Board Seat – A Write-In Mystery?
No one officially filed to run for the open Library Board seat—but word on WhatsApp is someone may be running as a write-in. Rumor or real?

🎨 3. Graffiti at Hempstead Gardens Station
Residents are raising concerns about chronic graffiti near the train station.
Is it a serious issue or just background noise? We’re looking into it.

🐾 4. Animal Abuse, Bail Reform & Public Safety
At a press event yesterday, DA Anne Donnelly, Clerk Kate Murray, and animal advocates demanded changes to NY’s cashless bail law, citing its impact on prosecuting violent animal abusers.
But it raises a bigger question: what about bail reform for other violent offenders?
