Hometown Heroes: Echo went to Long Island MacArthur Airport to meet with West Hempstead resident David Steinberg, a member of the Civil Air Patrol (CAP). CAP provides a number of vital services as an official US Air Force auxiliary branch, and David – recently promoted to Captain of the Long Island Senior Squadron (NY-207) – talked us through this diverse and vital organization.
