A solidarity rally to stand united as a community against bias incidents in West Hempstead and anti-semitism has been set for Sunday December 17th between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. at Halls Pond. The local rally, which is being organized by the One Israel Fund, has also been set to support Israel and to demand the release the hostages.
Recent local anti-Semitic bias incidents including the removal of hostage posters and the Halloween hate speech shaving cream incidents are unfortunately part of a significant uptick in anti-Semitic acts perpetrated across the tri-state area since the October 7th Hamas attack in Israel.
